Austin had a habit of dropping his head to meet eye level with whomever he spoke to. Austin is clearly an inch taller.
Austin can even look close to Mike Tyson's height just because he's dropping his head forward to meet eye to eye rather than stand tall.
He was no taller than HBK and was a little shorter than Austin. That would put Owen Hart at a solid 5'8" assuming Bret is 6 feet even.
It's possible Owen is taller than Rob, but I think the difference would be so little that it would be hard to tell. I'd put Owen at 5'8"-5'8.

I looked at many pictures of The Hart Foundation after that and saw that Bret and Jim were usually always the same height, but sometimes Bret was a hair taller and sometimes a hair shorter.
I also met Ric Flair once and I'd have to guess Ric at about the 5' One time Bret was like an inch shorter than Ric, the next time he was the same height as Ric, and the last time Bret was taller than Ric.

Rob, I think that's the smoking gun. Not only your photo, but that Bret Hart was listed at 5'11 before he became famous. I think he was probably between 5'11" and 6'0", but certainly NOT the 6'1" billed height that many WWE publications and video game manuals listed him at in the mids.
He never looked over nor under. He and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart were always the same height. He always looked shorter than Shawn Michaels, because Michaels always wore lifts in their encounters.

Austin had an easy inch on both Hart and HBK. I can then speculate that Y2A looks about cm in his photo with Bret, but like he says has a footwear disadvantage so could be more cm.

Wasn't that much shorter than 6'1 Austin. Today he could have lost a little bit, but still looks over 5' Skip to the mark where Bret and Austin stand face to face.
If it's agreed upon that Austin was 6'1" in his prime, than Bret was certainly 6'-6'0. I always think he was hovering around 5' He's been billed at 5'11 before.
A strong 5' At peak height I bet he was a sold 6ft. Maybe 6. He is 79 years old now, so he may have lost a little bit of height.
But he still appears to be near the 5'10" mark. Bret has his head tilted but he is standing in front of Bruno and he is thus closer to the camera.
In my opinion, Bret was probably around 6' tall at his peak but today he seems to be between 5'11"-5' I'd say he is 5' Peak 5' HBK was always at least an inch shorter.
Austin is another guy who today looks a bit shorter. I speculate even in his prime he was slightly under 6'0" flat.
He doesn't look to have lost much height if at all. With that said, I think we can use Bret as a measuring stick. HBK was slightly smaller, so we can see 5'10"-5'11" easy, and Austin, whom I don't think is 6'1" but more of a 6'0.

I do agree with Kevin Nash's sentiments that Bret is 5'11 more like 5' I'd place Owen at 5'8 maybe a weak 5'9" or 5'9" in boots.
However, Bret has bad posture and always has. So it is possible he could be 6 feet. I would put him at 5' In confrontations with Bret and Austin, Austin always hunches a bit to get in the face of wrestlers.
Now that I mentioned that, when Austin got in the face of HBK without his boots on and was wearing some type of dress shoe weeks before WM 14, he towered over HBK and had his whole head over Shawn, like a 3 inch difference.
Anyways, Bret always held his own to Austin and never looked too short, just a slight difference. Even without the lean he still had a slight footwear advantage.

But here is a very real list of wrestlers heights. My seats were the first level off of the floor, granting me a awesome view of the ring and the wrestlers.

I met Martel at wrestleslam in 07 and I was shocked he was at lowest 5' Nearer 6ft. I expected him to be shorter. Same day I met the mountie and Tito Santana who were both 6ft.

I was just over 6'3" at the time. No way in hell he was the full 6'3" let alone a strong 6'3". If you pay attention though.
Luger did wear some pretty thick soled boots from the mid 90's on. They were shoulder level, Bret surprisingly has a unusually long neck to compensate for this hense why he always does that weird pose to hide it like in this photo here with Rob.
