Though there are some elements of the story which I do find annoying View 2 comments. This series is such a good action manga. The author does a really splendid job on that with this one.

Yato is my favourite so far. Yukine is just adorable and a angsty teacher. Hiyori is really sweet and I think she is involving feelings for Yato.

It's alright! What's with Japan and casual child death? They had it in the first episode of Bleach too. I liked the little message about suicide is bad.

There were a couple little moments that got under my skin, but other than that I'm enjoying seeing this world expand and learning more about the lore.
Yukine is so cute, but his characteristic is little bad I want him to change his mind. This manga keeps on being fun and pretty.

Hiyori, knowing she needs Yato to help her regain full control of her body so her soul will quit separating and leaving her body 'unconscious.
However, just as she starts to trust him Yato and believe in his slow-moving campaign to become a major god, she learns very disturbing things about him.
Yato was once a warrior god. He did things th Technically more like a 3. He did things that have upset other gods.
There is a reason his shinki, spiritual weapons who are the spirits of young people who have died, don't really like him.
For that matter, his new shinki, Yukine, is not without his own problems. He wasn't sure how he died and he is a little thief, very money obsessed.
Even when confronted with the fact that his bad behavior causes Yato physical pain, Yukine doesn't care much. He doesn't really like Yato.
Worse, a very dangerous enemy of Yato has returned and she might just kill them all. The story keeps my interest and the art is very nice.
The characters are beginning to become complicated. I'm looking forward to more. I'm really liking the characters and how the story mixes comedic moments with heartfelt drama.
I'm looking forward to more, and I may just start collecting it instead of borrowing from the library. Amo amo.

After hefty negotiations, her suggesting 50, yen, he proudly admits to meaning 5 yen. After a One Word Rec. After all, he's saving up to buy himself a shrine.
Helping others, he'll become famous. So, this is V. Characters: Yato - our protagonist. In the past, a war god of calamity, but now stylizes himself as a "delivery god" Hiyori Iki - human, female protagonist.
Yukine - Yato's regalia read: weapon Tenjin - God of Academics Kofuku - God of Poverty Bishamonten - God of Combat Personal Opinion: Honestly, I feel like this after reading the first two volumes: I really, really wanted to enjoy this manga, but while reading it I just didn't feel sucked in like I usually do.
How is this possible! I don't understand what is happening here. I kept thinking is this going to get better? I decided to read at least the first two volumes in this series, do I really have to?
To be honest, if it wasn't for the afterwards explaining information through the manga, I would have stopped with v.
I keep trying to think if this has happened with a manga series in the past, you know one where I read the blurb and it sounds right up my alley and I know it will be an enjoyable read.
This series sounds so promising. A god who doesn't have a following or shrine and just wants to be loved and not forgotten. A God who writes his number in public places for people who need help to find him.
Who wouldn't be interested in reading this type of story? Part of me wants to continue, hoping that as the series progresses and it does, there are 20 v.
But I have to be honest, I think for now, I am going to stop reading this series, maybe I will come back to it in the future.
I hope so. I would like to say after reading V. I could also be having an off period right now and this is my hope to be honest and I might come back to this series and go, "huh, why did I rate it so low, this manga is pretty good.
I recommend checking this series out, I honestly do. I would suggest read it online, borrow it from the local library or from a friend who gushes about the series and will lend you a copy.
Take the time to read it before going out and adding this series to your growing personal library. You know, I know a lot of people who are against reading manga online although there is no issue with borrowing it from the library, friend or manga cafe , but I once went to a comic book convention.
At one of the booths, the guy told me: "The best way to share your comics is to pass them along. Hoarding them doesn't do them any good.

It's taken me a while to get to Noragami Volume 2. I've taken to using manga mostly as 'palette cleansers' between the actual novels that I read.
As a consequence, my actual manga reading is few and far between. I was happy this week that I finally came down to this volumes spot on the list.
Noragami Volume 1 was a hilarious gem, and I was eager to dive back into the world. Two volumes in now, I can say that Noragami doesn't hold the instant charm for me that My hero Academia: Vigilantes does, n It's taken me a while to get to Noragami Volume 2.
Two volumes in now, I can say that Noragami doesn't hold the instant charm for me that My hero Academia: Vigilantes does, nor has it blown me away like Witch Hat Atelier.
It is however, a very well-constructed and funny story that I'm happy to continue following for the foreseeable future. Noragami Volume 2 picks up where the previous installment left off.
Yato, the god desperately trying to cobble together followers by performing various odd jobs, and Hiyori, the middle-schooler who needs him to fix her soul's nasty habit of leaving her body, are accompanied now by Yukine, a deceased fourteen-year-old who has taken the position of Yato's Shinki.
He can turn into a sword that Yato swings around. I theorized in my review of the previous volume that Yukine would be a great addition to the cast, and I was right.
He strikes a good balance between the haphazard Yato, and the only-sane-person Hiyori, as an apathetic teenager who doesn't really care about the fantastical events happening around him, outside the fact that he has to deal with them now.
Most of the time he's kind of a prick, but an early chapter does a good job of showing some extra depth to him.
That same chapter also shows that this series is fully capable of handling more emotionally somber fare, which I'll get to later.

Bishamon is forced to confer with the other gods about her recent failings. Elsewhere, Ebisu offers to buy Yukine from Yato for a large sum of money - enough for Yato to build his own shrine.
S2, Ep8. After Kugaha's defeat, Ebisu decides to conduct certain, secret tests. Meanwhile, Yato reaches new highs and new lows after Hiyori gives him his own shrine
